QuestionI have 1 male beta. My tank has been set up for almost a year.It is 2.5 gallons.I change the water ounce every week.I fill it all the way.Latly I've noticed that he won't eat, has a red spot were a fish has a chin,very rarly eats, and stays near the top, barely moving. What is wrong with my fish?

Redness usually indicates a bacterial infection. It could be a form of mouth rot or something. Try using "Maracyn 2". It's available at most fish stores. Here is a good web page about treating fish in small tanks to help you with dosage;
