feedin my goldfish

Hi,
I have a quick question.  are their any around the house foods that can be given to goldfish as a suppliment until I get to walmart?  I think I have a regular goldfish that has gotten to be very big.  We have named him IKE.  Ike has white tips on his tail but I got him for little of nothing at one of the pet stores.  Ike started out as pasrt of a group of many.  He is the only one that lasted we are going on our 3 year and he just keep growing!  which does not bother me at all.  Somtimes the food runs out before I can get to the store quick enough to replace and I don't want Ike to starve.

Thawed peas (cut)
The dark green tops of broccoli
orange slices
cucumber

those 4 items make great temporary foods, healthy treats, and in the case of peas and broccoli, suppliments when ill.

Fish can go a few days without eating as well, so dont fear starvation if they don't eat for 3 or 4 days. I usually feed my fish twice a week, unless im breeding.
