Question
My fish tank walls have little white worms&some kind of slim. What are they and what is the slim?
                                       Thanks Ricky

Answer
Hey Ricky, tell me, have you had anything die in your tank within the last few weeks, if they have then the little worms would be the bacteria caused by the dead fish caucus, it sounds yuck but its true, as for the slime is it green? if it is then it would be either algae (which is not always a bad thing in your tank, it actually means you have a healthy tank) but if it is white then it would be some form of bacteria. To get rid of it you can get a cloth (that is brand new and has never had any form of chemical used on it) and just wipe the walls with it, its usually a good idea to have a cloth or two for your tank. And as for the algae, i would recommend a wonderful new product called an Aquarium Algae block which is made by Aquarium science, this is a great product as all you have to do is drop a piece of the block into your tank and within 2 days the tank will be clear from algae, if its not wait for the block to dissolve and add another one, this product works wonders, you should be able to buy it from a local nursery or pet/aquarium shop. Hope i could help,
