fish feeding

Hello,

I have just bought two goldfishes and i am not sure if i am feeding them corectly. I don't know how much food i have to give to them cause i understood that it is not recommended to give them a lot of food but in the same time i do not want them to starve. So i feed them 4 flakes once a day and today for example cause they looked very hungry i gave them 2 more granules. And can you please also tell me what is better for them to eat: flakes, crispies or granules.

okay, try giving the goldfish a mixture of flakes, granules and crispies. give them a pinch of flakes in the morning, usually enough, is what they can eat within 1 minute. whatever is left over means you have given them too much and take excess out, then before you go to bed give them some granules or crispies which is also whatever they can eat in a minute. i usually just do a small pinch each time. you dont have to be precise. a pinch twice a day will keep them happy.
