Fire-mouths same thing

Answer
Hi Linda;

Maybe they don't like each other and aren't bonded, or aren't mature enough to breed?
Or, perhaps they aren't established enough yet?
How long have you had the tank set up?
Could the tank be still in the break-in period and the toxins are preventing them from feeling like breeding?
Do you make weekly 25% water changes and gravel vacuumings?

Males have pointed fins and get more color. Mature males get a hump on their heads. Females are smaller, have rounder fins and are more plain looking.
