Male Kenyi

Our tank got pretty green while doing remodeling our female Kenya died very fast didn't notice a problem but the male is very light colored with blotches, one eye is white looking, he is hiding and not swimming well we got a new filtration system and heater then changed the water and got the pH levels good but he does not seem to be getting better. What can I do?

Hi Trent,
 Hmm...  its hard to say what caused what in this situation. The white eye could be the result of fighting with the female or it could be something new.  The best thing to do is to get on a regular schedule of weekly partial water changes.  I strongly recommend changing 25% of the water once a week, every week.  That is usually the best thing you can do.
