Question
I have a 10 gallon tank with a heater, filter, and plants and a rock. My Silver Molly is looking rather large and just had some babies this morning, I am a new fish owner and don't know what to do with them. If you can help me out that would be great, thanks much.

Answer
Ok thanks for your question.
You need to buy a breeding net to keep all the fry in, as the mother will just eat them if given the chance. So catch them in a normal net, and keep them in a breeding net in the tank. (You can buy breeding nets at fish shops.)
Feed the fry with small amounts of crushed flake food and baby brineshrimp.
Don't be surprised if some of them die, it happens a lot, especially when the birth is not expected.
Good luck,
Kathryn
