Different Fishes

QUESTION: I have four goldfish in my tank and i want to get a different type of cold blooded fish. i only know about the black more which i can keep with my fishes, is there any other fishes i can keep with my four gold fishes? my tank is around 4gallons, but my fishes are at average 4inches in lenght.

  I think you should stay with 4 fishes in a 4 gallon tank.  By the way, the black moor is another type of goldfish.

QUESTION: how can you tell if the fish is a fantail? because my fish has quite big fins so i dont know what type it is. i have just got a new tank, this time its 8 gallons, i just want another type of fish instead of the same coloured gold fish.

Hi Zak,
 A fantail is also another kind of goldfish.  Different types of goldfish are all the same species, they are just subtle variations on the same theme and there are no really hard distinctions between one variety and the next.  If you want something different, don't get any kind of goldfish.
