what happens when the female lays the eggs but the male doesn,t do his part is he to young or steril should i leave them together or seperate amd look for another or what.

Hi,
   If the eggs are not fertilized they will likely last a few days and then fungus over and the female will likely eat them.  Sometimes it takes several attempts before the male and female get their timing right.
