i hav two flowerhorns

i have 2 flowerhorn and kept them in 1 tanks they  are 1 and a half months old should i put partition and how i will come to know they are male or female

Gavin, there are basically 4 strands of which flowerhorns were bred from, 3egular, @earl scale, /olden, and faders. About 15 or so total exist. These fish are very aggressice and territorial as are other cichlids. They should not be kept together in an aquarium, also they should have an aquarium of at least 20 gallons. The sexing of these fish is fairly simple, basically the male has a V shape anal pore and the female has a U shape. Also, females have smaller lumps on their heads as adults. I hope this helps.
