betta companions

I have a betta, and was wanting to know if I could put him in with the shubkins, their are four of them in a 50gal tank with lots of hiding places  and plastic plant.thanks!

Hey Marlene,
Since the Tank is 50gal, it doesn't seem like a problem and hiding spots also help the cause. But bettas tend to nip on the fin's of Goldfish sometimes and kill them. But these situations have been in smaller tanks. Also bettas need warmer water and goldfish need cold water. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you really want to, you can. Let me know how it goes.
