AnswerHi Rahul,
I have never kept or tried to breed arowanas. I do know that they are not easy to breed, partly because they need to be adults to breed and adult arrowanas are rather large (over 2 feet). They are male mouthbrooders, meaning the male carries the fertilized eggs in his mouth. There is also a good chance that one of them will hurt or kill the other if you put them together.
