Zebra Finch Loose in CA

I have some Zebra Finches that escaped from their cage. We live is San Jose. Will they be able to survive here and find food in the environment. Thanks.

It MAY be able to do so but putting some food out and maybe setting the cage it was in (with the other birds in it ) outside UNDER CLOSE SUPERVISION. Sometimes the escaped bird will hear it's buddies and fly back over to the cage. Just be ready to catch the little guy should he fly over. Only do this for a couple hours and if you have to go inside, so do they. Be aware of predatory birds and be ready to run the cage inside at a moments notice. There's little you can do about the escaped bird (but hope) but you can keep the other birds safe.
