sexing albinos and lutinos budgies

i was told by a pet store that all albino and lutino budgies are always female. is that true at all? thank-you.

Hello C.M.! That is not true. Parakeets are not gender detertmined by what color they are. Some females may have traits that males dont, but it is not 100% that all albino and lutino 'keets are female. I had an albino keet that was a male, so anything is possible!
