unhappy budgie

hi. i hope you can help or give me advise.  we bought a budgie about 2 weeks ago.  we love her and spend lots of time with her.  but shes started making a almost angry chirping cheeky noise.  is she not happy?  i want her to me happy!  thank you!  chantelle

Budgies are well known for making some pretty weird sounds.  They can even mimic human speech!  If she seems otherwise happy, but makes angry noises, she may just be making noise for the sake of making noise.  She might also be doing this to get your attention, but I think she's probably happy!
