Female widow

Question
My female budgie is left with 5 baby budgies to take care of after my male budgie flew away.This is her first bunch of babies and i want to do what ever i can to help her out. What do you recommend?

This sort of thing unfortunately does happen.  In the wild, sometimes the male will get separated from his family or killed, and usually the female still manages to care for herself and the eggs.  Just make sure that she has vitamin rich seed, a cuttlebone, and plenty of love.

I'm sorry to hear about your male.  Hopefully he'll find his way back home.
