sick budgie

hi, i bought a young budgie (around 6 weeks old is what the retailer said) 3 days ago. This afternoon, it was absolutely fine and energetic, but an hour ago, I checked on her and she seems to have lost control of her legs, is very weak and can't move. I felt her body and she seems very skinny. Her feces only contains white and no brown solids. Please help her!

Has she been eating much?  Sometimes when you first take them home, they get very stressed and won't eat or drink.  I would call the retailer and ask what they were being fed before.  Sometimes a change of food is stressful and they won't eat the new food.

I would set up a hospital cage.  Put the cage in a dark quiet room and cover it so that she can rest.  Make sure that she's kept warm and has clean food and water.  You may also want to lower the perches so that if she falls, which she probably won't, she won't fall from high enough to hurt her.  Then, call a vet and ask for a medical opinion.  There's an ask the vet section here on AllExperts, I would try there if you can't find a vet in your area.
