Air in baby cockatiels crop

i read a previous answer that says to burp the cockatiel but i dont know how to do it, i keep thinking im going to hurt it the way i try to do it, any steps?

Hi, Unknown.  Thanks for posting!

Place a finger at the bottom of the air bubble (on the outside of the babies crop) and VERY, VERY GENTLY push the air up and out of the babies mouth.  This is a very easy thing to do.  If you can handfeed them, you can burp them!
