Horse for training

Where are you located and do you accept Horses for Training??  Ex.  A 6 yr old Am Saddlebred that is not broken to ride??   Thanks, Candace Meili

Hi Candace!

Yes, I break horses and correct behavioral issues for a living.  My barn is in N.E. Ohio.

About breaking a saddle horse of any breed....Am. Saddlebred, Arab, Morgan, National Showhorse.....one must be very careful to hire a professional trainer who has years of experience with these breeds.

Even if you are not breaking one of these breeds to the Saddleseat ring for showing, they still need to be treated a certain way.  A true western QH person would not do well with the mind of a saddlehorse.  They would never see things eye to eye.  

So, I always recommend to find a trainer who knows and has experience with your breed of horse....or with your horse's particular need.

Good luck and remember to always wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet!
