hello, why thoroughbreds are not suitable for endurance racing? give me the reason.

Thoroughbreds are a hot blooded breed of horse, and they are certainly capable of competing in Cross Country Three Day Eventing, which certainly requires a lot of endurance.

But if you are asking about endurance races that go for many, many miles, it has generally been found that Thoroughbreds are not as suitable as breeds such as Arabians. There are always exceptions to this rule, of course.

They have been bred for many, many generations for speed, even though the Darley Arabian was one of three foundation sires of the TB breed.
