Question
I have adopted a 2yr old untouched Tennessee Walker (THOR), Never been "imprinted" with human breath at birth, and physically has never been touched by human contact. He is spooky, and leary of humans. I have him and his brother ( 1yr old, which is not afraid and I have been able to halter and pet) in the same corral together. I have tried holding grain to them in bucket and even standing near the bucket until they come to it, Thor never does, unless his brother Jack is eating and blocking me from his brother Thor. I was able to put a hand on him when we had him loaded in th etrailer. He shook, quivered and tried to get away from that side of the trailer.
How can I get him to overcome this fear. I am out at the corral trying to coax him in with grain and hay,( I don't say anything inside the corral unless I am working on halter Jack ( prasies only). Outsid ethe corral I call their names to announce my presence.

Answer
You are doing the opposite of what you should be doing. Understanding a horse is key to getting a horse to know and trust you.

I have over 400 videos and a large website.  Read and watch and your horse will be following you around soon.

Watch the video on what people have learned from my channel and website, it will work if you take the time and invest, if you just try for a fast easy answer, you will teach the horse bad lessons.
