Question
i don't want to sound stupid but i had a friend ask me where you put the key on a horse. I'm not real knowlagable about horses however isn't it a term used in a trained horse?

Answer
Hi Amanda!

They are not "keys" they are CUES!  Slight difference!  A "cue" is a request that the handler or rider makes of the horse by using the halter and lead or bit and reins, legs, hands, weight, heels on the horses body.  For example when the rider bumps the horse in the belly with his/her heels it is asking the horse to move forward.  By picking up on the reins, it is asking the horse to slow down or stop.

Hope this helps!

Smiles!  Denise
