hoof chipping off in hot climate

hello sir. may i know how come horse hooves chip off slightly during hot climate if they are exercised lightly(trotting)bare hoofed?

HELLO ROHIT...

Simply said...It is usually a lack of proper moisture, whether the horses are worked
lightly or in heavy training.

Impact & concussion cause the problem & IF the hooves are not supple & elastic enough to
flex, then chipping and cracking can occur.
