high heels
hello sir. if i buy a racehorse whose heels are too high. does it affect its performance? i have attached an image of a horse with high heels.

YES... definitely, Most of them will have a straight shoulder/scapula, and that is
conducive to the angle of the hoof capsule & pastern.
According to the picture you sent, the pastern angle is "almost" straight up & down !!
When the angle is that straight, it hampers with the extension of the front limb goin
forward.
IF you try and cut/remove the heel, you will Only overload the tendons and could result in a bow/or tear !!
