Question
hello sir. in general, do horses have low heels on their hind feet?

Answer
HELLO CAINE...THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUESTION...

YES, because of the relationship to the front limb and hoof capsule, the hind limb
metatarsal, all three phalanx's must be under the hind end for propulsion.

There being, the horse uses his/her toe to grab and drive forward.
the horse's "motor" so to say is in the hind end. The front end is naturally it's "steering"
devise for direction !!

Best to You !!
