sand cracks affecting the hoof

hello sir, may i know how come horse get sand cracks even though they are exercised with shoes on sand (irrespective of exercise)? should i apply hoof oil daily before exercise?

HELLO ROHIT...

AS I mentioned before...always adding hoof oils Will help any hoof !!

Sand cracks CAN occur even if they are shod. Sand/soil can migrate between the shoe & hoof
wall especially if the shoes were NOT put on "level & tight" to the hoof wall.
