Question
hello sir. i am getting confused why do racehorse trainer use either rubber padding or leather paddings on the horse hooves. may i know why?

Answer
HELLO ROHIT...

The "only" reason to use any kind of padding is to protect or prevent further bruising.

Leather is used & has been for decades because they feel it is more natural & will hold moisture
& allow the hoof to breathe.

Pour-in urethane padding is the way to go over old rubber or plastic pads now !!
It forms to the sole better and makes a perfect impression. Plus keeps unwanted debris &
filth out !!
