Question
hello sir. may i know the purpose of using oak bonded rim pads on horses? does it absorb shocks? i browsed in internet but couldn't find the picture of it.

Answer
HELLO ROHIT...

It is just a simple rim pad ( only under the shoe) & does aid in helping reduce shock
to the hoof and limb.  On extremely hard ground it helps.  "DOWN SIDE"...It can allow heels to crush in the pad material & get weak !!

Best to You !!
