applying hoof oil all of a sudden

hello sir. is there any harm to the horse if i apply hoof oil to the hoof wall all of a sudden?

HELLO ROHIT...

NO...In warm dry conditions, should be applied 3/4 times a week.

Water is "a two edge sword"...the hoof will hydrate, then with extreme temperatures
dry out badly and actually harden the hoof capsule as to cause cracking & spliting.
