applying cow dung on hooves

Hi. Sam here. I would like to know the purpose of cow dung(especially fresh cow dung) for horse hooves. When should I apply it and where on the hoof(I mean sole, hoof wall, frog etc.)?

HELLO SAM...

I Started NOT to answer this question on the premise that it is insane !!

I REALIZE that different countries have different ways...BUT Using ANY animal feces,
is either a "Joke" or ridiculous !!

Bovine manure is high in acidity cause of their diets & rumen and has NO purpose except
to fertilize grasslands.

IF You have no access to conditioners...then any light oils would be beneficial.
