hello, what happens if a low heeled horse is exercised either with a normal shoe or barefooted? why it requires a special shoe called high heel. does the heel crack quickly for low heeled horses?

Hello Rohit,

It depends on why the heel is low. Nothing may happen or the horse may become lame. I think you are talking about a wedge shoe. It doesn't always require this. Sometimes just trimming the hoof properly and offering the hoof the correct amount of support with a regular shoe will fix the problem.
