Well I can saddle my horse up really good and stuff but my horse is to resitant for me to but the bit in her mout and i am to short to hold her head down to put it in there! What can I do to help me with this problem cause I havent been able to ride in weeks!

Answer
(sorry for the delay...I had a sick horse to nurse.)
First order of the day is that you should have someone with you whenever you are with your horse for safety reasons.   If your mare is tall and you are short, I would venture to guess that you have hit or banged her teeth with the bit when you are putting it in or taking it out of her mouth.  That hurts her so she doesn't want to have it in her mouth.  Ask someone else who is taller than you to bit her up and see if she misbehaves.  Also, she may need to have her teeth floated.   You also should get a mounting block which you can stand on to bit the mare as well as making it easier and safer to mount and dismount.  You did not say what kind of bit you are using?  Perhaps you need to use a mild bit like a copper mouth snaffle.    Once you are able to reach above your mare's neck, just behind her ears is a sensitive area.  If you are able to safely reach that area, you can encourage her to lower her head by placing your thumb on one side and your index finger on the other and gently squeeze.  As soon as she lowers her head, even if just a tiny bit, release the pressure which is the reward for good behavior.  If you do this regularly, the mare will learn to lower her head when your hand is raised to that area.  You really should have someone with you when you are with your mare and I do hope you are wearing a helmet to protect your head as well.  Good luck.
