I will try to answer your question and "be specific."  However, your question was not specific.  They live all over the world now days.  Did you mean to ask where they live in the wild, indigenously, where can they live legally in the U.S. or where you can find a breeder to locate a pet?

For purposes of this answer, I will assume that you are doing research and would like to know where sugar gliders can be found in the wild.  

Sugar gliders are indigenous to Australia, Papua-New Guinea and Indonesia and have been introduced to Tasmania.  They live mainly in the tree tops of eucalyptus trees.
