Question
I am considering buying 2 gliders that are what I am told 8 months old. Does this make the bonding process any different, does it take longer than normal to bond with them while they have already bonded with there old owners? And the person selling them said they are down sizing their colony, is it going to be a problem for the gliders being taken away from their family? I used to have ferrets and when the one died the other got very depresses. I was wondering if the same thing can happen. Thank you

Answer
Jami,

Sorry I'm late with my response, but my computer crashed.

The bonding process should actually be easier, since the gliders are already hand-tame.  All gliders miss their families for a couple of days, but since you are taking two, they will be fine.  It looks like you will have a fairly easy transition.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck,

Betty
