Question
i have read that you can't give sugar gliders onion or garlic...  what will that do ... as sometimes there is a little in cooking meat and occasionally the glider gets those leftovers....  please advise.. thank  you. : )

Answer
Dear Lynn:

Garlic and onion are toxic for gliders.  It is not a good idea to feed your gliders red meats either.  I would refrain from feeding your glider leftovers with the exception of turkey or chicken breast close to the bone without any fats or seasoning.

Alternative sources of protein are eggs (mine like scrambled) chicken breast, turkey breast, mealworms, crickets and tuna.
