Sugar glider problem

Question
Hi, my sister has 2 sugar gliders, a male and a female. She has always thought that something wasn't quite right with the little girl, but recently she has had a total of 3 babies and all of them are blind. The problem now is that the little girls pouch has turned inside out! We can sell her little nipples and everything! It is really bad, and you can tell that it is painful to her. We have no idea how this happend, just one night when she went to get her out that was how she was. Can you please shed some light on this? I cannot find anything online to help with the unique problem, and she dosen't have the money to take her to the vet.
Please give us your best advice.

Thank you so much
God Bless
Crystal

Answer
Crystal,

I'll have to do some research on your situation.  I sure wish you could take her to the vet.  One question before I try to find an answer for you:  Are the male and female related in any way?  There could be a genetic issue with the blindness.  Take care.  I'll write again when I have some insight into the problem.

Thanks for writing.
