QuestionWe have 2 male sugar gliders about 4 years old.Unneutered. This weekend we noticed both of them had greasy fur. They have been fed boiled chicken and bites of carrot, cauliflower and peas--new diet this weekend. They are active and ate well. Have not had greasy fur before and did not get into anything to get dirty. Your comments are appreciated.
AnswerDear Susan:
You didn't mention how old these guys are? Have they been getting calcium supplements and vitamins? Also, this diet is not quite complete. You wrote it is a new diet this weekend. What diet were they on previously?
Here is some info on the top sugar glider diets:

It sounds like it may be diet related. Diet is probably the single most hotly debated issue regarding sugar gliders. Choose a good, well rounded diet with a good staple mix, plenty of protein and fresh or frozen fruits and veggies and proper supplements to go with the diet of your choice. If they exhibit any other signs such as runny stools, lethargy, vomiting, runny eyes and nose, etc. I would get them to a vet ASAP.
Best,
Laurie
