Sugar glider biting and crabbing all the time

Question
I have had midget (female) for a three and a half weeks now.  Was told she was 4 months old when I got her but I believe she is much older than that.  She is huge!  I already had one (Mia) that was 3 months old and she was really small as compared to Midget.  Well anyway I went through the bonding process with Midget and she just has not really bonded.  She crabs all the time and if you open the pouch up she wants to lunge at you.  She bites.  She has drew blood on me several times.  I don't know what to do about this, my other one loves being with her and the companionship.  But I need to be able to reach in and get Mia without getting bit everytime.  I talk sweet to her like I do to Mia but Midget still crabs and lunges at me.  I would like for Midget to be tame like Mia.  Please help me out.

Thanks,
Iva Fisher

Answer
Please read my earlier articles on extreme bonding cases.. it will be the one mentioning use of metal welding gloves for conditioning exercises.. she need to be forced to face you and this will help her to see you mean her no harm..

best of luck :)
