Question
I recently bought a sugarglider including a cage, toys and food. I was not prepared and took on a bigger responsibility than I realized. I cannot give him as much attention as I should. I would like to find him a loving home that can give him what he deserves. Im not asking for any money or anything in return, I would just simply like to find him a good home.  How do I do this?

Answer
Hi,

First, if you got him a companion, he would be much happier and not need so much attention.  Unfortunately, however, if you don't want babies, he would have to be neutered.  Two males will not get along.

Where do you live?  I might be able to help you.

Try your local Craigslist.  I suggest you charge something for him.  If you give him away, someone might take him just because he is free.  You want him to go to a home that can afford to buy him proper food, medical care, etc.  You could also do a search for "sugar glider classifieds,"  and put up an ad.  Hoobly.com is another site that has classifieds for free.  Perhaps your vet or local pet store would let you put up a flyer.  No matter what you do, make sure the person has done research and knows how to care for your glider.

I hope this helps.  Please keep me informed.
