Are you sure? I thought she was just asking for food. How do they show affection to another sugar glider?

Question -
I know my dog likes me because he licks me, wags his tail, and acts happy to see me. How do sugar gliders show affection? Or are they just indifferent like snakes?

Answer -
once your gliders gets use to you he or she will come up to the door of the cage when they hear your voice and will make little chirping like sounds if you feed them little treats...once your gliders get real comfortable with you they will even climb onto your hand, up your arm...etc...gliders are not like dogs obviously but your glider will show you they are happy to see you by like i said coming to the cage door wanting attention from you...if you hear a chirping like sound then you know you have a happy glider that loves you!

Answer
with other gliders they will groom the other glider by licking them and make little chirping sounds....gliders do like treats and will come to the cage door for that but you will know if the gliders is scared of you cause they will hide and make a sound that sounds like a electic pencil sharpener...if your glider is letting you pet and handle him or her without making that scared sound that means they are comfortable with you and are not threatened by you
