Question
i AM DOING A PROJECT ON SUGAR GLIDERS BUT i DON'T KNOW WHAT THERE BEHAVIOR IS?

Answer
Sara,

I am a school teacher.  What class are you doing a project for?  How old are you?

Sugar Gliders are social and territorial.  Gliders live together in a family group of anywhere from 2 to 12 individuals.  One dominant glider (usually a male) will be the leader.  He scent marks the group, and any glider without this smell will be attacked.

Gliders have their own personalities, just like people.  Some will be shy, some bold.  They are very attached to their "friends" and groom each other, play together, and sometimes fuss at each other.  They sleep together in a little huddle.  Have you seen Meercat Manor?  Sugar Gliders are very much the same.  They have specific rules, and the dominant glider will make sure everyone follows the them.

When gliders are bonded with humans, they are fun little pets.  They will climb on people and snuggle up to sleep.  Sugar Gliders are very sophisticated animals - nothing like hamsters or mice.  They are marsupials, not rodents.

What specific kind of behaviors would you like to know about?  The best places for research are sugar-gliders.com and glideruniversity.org.  Good luck with your project!
