Question
One of my little ones got into a box of cinnamon sugar triscuits this morning. She refused to get out of the box and crabbed at me every time I tried to get her out. I finally managed to get her out and put the box where she can't get to it. Is it alright for her to have it or should I be worried?

Answer
Unless she ate mass amounts, it shouldnt cause any issues. But just watch her, if she starts to become shaky, lethargic, begins to put on a ton of weight or goes off food I would take her to an exotics vet.. any normal vet will just say whatever they want and get paid and send you on your way, and odds are your glider wont actually be treated properly and it will die.

I had several of my first few rescue gliders die because I didnt believe that a typical vet wouldnt recognize and know how to treat my glider.. well they didnt, and all of the ones I took in died of something that was so simple to cure or fix if someone knew what it was and knew how to treat it. So find an exotics vet if needed, but I would say the glider should be fine.

I have had mine get into whatever I was snacking on or whatever was left on the counter or kitchen table ( dorito's, chocolate covered almonds, oreos)
