Sugar glider grooming his penis regularly.

I'm rather embarassed to ask this, but my son has a male sugar glider who is often seen "groomin" his penis and making panting noises. Is this a regular occurance with male sugar gliders? Should we just leave him alone or seek medical help?

Well...I have seen my gliders grooming themselves, including the penis.  It is part of the natural grooming process. I don't know about the panting noise, though.  I wouldn't worry about it, unless it becomes obsessive, or if the male seems to be hurting himself.  Please keep me informed.
