color changing of an anole lizard

I just bought a green and bahama anole lizard it was green when I bought it but now it it is completely brown is that normal I would really appreaciate it if u got back to me as soon as u can thank you

Yes, the anoles can change color.  Do you have the Bahama brown anole, correct?  They can change their color from brown to green, & vice versa.  They change color according to their body temperatures as well as stress.
What are the temperatures in the tank, do you use a basking light & a UVB light source?
What do you use to measure the temperatures with?

If you just got the anole, then, he or she will have a little bit of relocation stress moving to a new home.
