water lizard

hi my lizard has a swelling on 1 side of his jaw. he is not eating as much and i am very worried about him , i dont know what to do and would be very grateful for a reply. thanks

Hello Maddie,

Do you have a picuture of your water dragon?
Please review the tank setup with me, such as the tank temperatures, the type of lighting you have, what the humidity is, etc.
If he is not eating, try getting some chicken or turkey baby food to feed to him with a syringe or dropper.
The swelling could be an abscess from an infection, or an injury.  Do you leave crickets in the tank with him overnight?
