Can I use potting soil with fertilizer for my turtle to lay her eggs in?

Paige, I would stick with 50% sand  and 50% organic compost or sterile soil make sure it is about 12 inches deep if she is large and has large clutches a nice corner full. They will take 60 to 90 days to hatch so be patient...unless you have no male and they are unfertile then I would remove them. She may eat one or two it is fine and healthy but, messy for your tank.
