QuestionI am 9 years old and would really like to have a gecko or iguana for a pet. My mom said I could if I could find one that does not eat crickets and does not get too big - the size of a human hand. Do you know what I could get?
Answeryou can ask your locle pet store about a Uro...there are a few didfferent types of them..they are mainly if not soley vegeterian and about 10 inches long with there tail included so fairly small right click highlight and copy/paste this in your search bar

it has some basic info about these lizards...bare in mind you will need an expensive set up before you buy the lizard which its self will cost $100-200...the set up will cost $150-250 depending on if you get a "baby tank" to begiun with...these lizards need UVB lighting as well and you need to do some searches on that best of all get a few books on different lizards from your locale library...lizards are not matinace free or easy care animals and can be expensive to care for.
