Question
Hello,
I have two bearded dragons, one at 4 weeks and one at 3 weeks old.
i have put 2 granite stones in there vavirium as supports for a bigger stone.
both dragons are trying to eat or lick the granite stones, the stones have been disenfected and washed before entry. just wondering if it is normal or dangerous for them.
many thanks
matt

Answer
Dragons are going to lick, it's the way they smell something.  There may be a color in the granite, or some mineral in it that fascinates them.  I'd be more concerned about loose stones holding up a larger stone, I would be concerned over a possible crush injury from someone bumping into the tank accidently.
