How to give medicine to baby beardie

Question
QUESTION: We've had our baby bearded dragon since Christmas, and at first he was eating every little cricket in sight.  It appears that he has pinworms (tiny translucent worms in his feces, he's lethargic and not eating).  The pet store says to use Panacur and I saw another post of yours with the suggested dose.  Can you tell me how to administer it?  Can we force his little mouth open and give it to him in a dropper, or is it added to his bath water where he does his most drinking?  Thanks!  We already love the little guy.

ANSWER: Hello Julie,

How much does your baby dragon weigh, approximately?
You can gently open his mouth by the side of his mouth & gently squirt it into his mouth.
I can help dose the Panacur but I need an approximate weight, if possible.
You can use a plastic dropper or a syringe, dosed for him.
Do you have any pictures of him?

QUESTION: I don't have a way to weigh him, although he's about 7 inches long from nose to tail. We've decided to take him to the veterinarian to have him checked for parasites, now that we've found one that specializes in reptiles in our area.  Thank you for your advice, since I'm sure some medication will be in order.  This morning, he's eaten a cricket and appears to be a little more active. We've ordered Panacur 10% solution from a bearded dragon site online, and it comes with a dropper.  Maybe today we'll learn his weight at the vet.

Answer
Hello Julie,

Great, they can most likely get a weight on him for you.  Let me know what that weight is & I will help you dose him.  It is usually a 10% solution on the Panacur.
Is this a liquid form, or paste form?
That is good he seemed to be doing better today.  Let me know how he is doing.

Thanks.
