dear Pam
When is the best time to reduce the lighting in the tank. Would it be appropriate around November time? Please would it be possible for you to provide more information on the subject, i.e. feeding or not feeding during this time?

 Dear Jim,
 You can start when sunset starts noticably earlier.  It is starting already but it's still light out at 7:30.  I start mid September, 12 hours on and 12 hours off. Near the end of Novemeber, any dragons who are not brumating will have their lights on 10 hours and 14 hours off.  Brumating dragons who have decided to do some hard sleeping will have their lights turned off.
 Brumation varies with the dragon.  The best information on the subject is from Dr. Kathryn Tosney:
